Randbemerkung: der Begriff Kanephore ist als Fachterminus in der Architektur von Bedeutung und heute noch in Gebrauch, näml. für eine weibliche Statue mit tragender Funktion (Gebälkträgerin), synonym wird für diese 'Karyatide' verwendet.
